What is expected value (EV) in sports betting?

Expected value is what a bet is mathematically worth, on average, over many repetitions. You calculate it by multiplying your estimated probability of an outcome by the odds on offer: if our model gives a team a 60% chance and a bookmaker prices it at 1.90, the expected value is 0.60 x 1.90 - 1 = +14%. A positive number means the odds are longer than the true chance warrants, so the bet has value. A negative number means you are being underpaid for the risk, no matter how likely the outcome feels.

Yes. There are no subscriptions, no paywalls and no payment details required — every prediction, the odds comparison, the accumulator builder and the full track record are available on a free account. There is an optional Support Us page for anyone who wants to contribute, but nothing is locked behind it.

Every prediction we publish is logged and settled against the real result, and the record is public — broken down by market, league and confidence tier, including the losses. We deliberately don't advertise a headline win rate, because a strike rate without the odds attached tells you nothing: a 40% hit rate at average odds of 3.00 is profitable, while 70% at 1.20 is not. Check the track record page and judge the numbers yourself. No prediction service can guarantee profit.
